Students develop skills in evaluating risk and applying business-continuity and crisis-management strategies in increasingly complex environments. The module is particularly relevant to Caribbean businesses and organisations dependent on tourism, aviation, telecommunications, financial services, utilities, supply chains and international commerce, where a major disruption can rapidly create economic and operational consequences.

The research project is the largest component of the MSc and provides an opportunity to develop advanced expertise in a chosen area. Students identify a research problem, review relevant literature, develop a research methodology, collect and analyse information, consider ethical issues and produce a substantial professional research output.
