Programme Overview

The LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology from the University of Essex Online combines a qualifying law degree with the study of criminology, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of legal principles while examining the social, psychological, political and economic factors that influence crime and criminal justice. Delivered 100% online on a part-time basis, the programme is designed for working professionals and adult learners who require flexibility without compromising academic quality. Entry Requirements

Applicants may be admitted through one of two routes:

Academic Entry Route

Three A-Levels or an equivalent qualification.
Caribbean applicants would typically satisfy this requirement with qualifications such as CAPE, GCE A-Levels or another recognized Level 3 qualification.

Work Experience Entry Route

GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications).
A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.

English Language

Applicants must also satisfy the University's English language requirements.

Students are also required to successfully complete their first assignment during the initial weeks of study to continue in the programme.
