The Professional Project provides the opportunity to investigate a real endocrinology-related issue relevant to the student's professional practice. Students formulate a research question, conduct independent investigation and critically evaluate clinical, organisational or service-delivery practice. Depending on the project, learners may undertake a literature review, audit, evidence-based practice implementation project, qualitative or quantitative study, case-based review or service-quality assessment. The project is designed to build advanced research skills and may provide an opportunity to produce work suitable for academic or professional publication.
